BSEC: Baltimore Social-Environmental Collaborative
BSEC is an Urban Integrated Field Lab that generates the climate science needed to support equitable pathways for climate action in Baltimore City. We have engaged researchers and community partners in an iterative process of priority identification, observation and modeling system design, and multi-objective tradeoff assessments. The outcome is a family of “potential equitable pathways” for climate action, together with a workflow to generate these pathways that can be applied in other cities and to other climate challenges.
