FAntSSIE: Framework for Antarctic System Science in E3SM

This work strives to reduce uncertainty in sea-level rise projections by developing an Antarctic system framework that resolves key Antarctic processes in several Earth system models. We are introducing new methods and using simulations with the hope that results improve our ability to project the impact of climate change on sea-level rise and provide action steps.
Keywords Antarctica, fracture mechanics, glaciers, ice sheets, mesh adaptivity, ocean dynamics, snow
