High School Internship Program
The High School Internship Program (HS) provides qualified northern New Mexico high school seniors the opportunity to develop skills and gain work experience, while receiving exposure to a variety of career fields. Internships are available in both STEM and other career fields (e.g., administrative, business, operations support, etc.).
Have senior status AND be at least 16 years of age at the time the internship begins. Have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Attend a high school located in northern New Mexico. Pass a new employment drug test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.

LANL Postdoctoral (Postdoc) Program
The Postdoctoral (Postdoc) Research program offers the opportunity for appointees to perform research in a robust scientific R&D environment, present and publish research, advance knowledge in basic and applied science, and strengthen national scientific and technical capabilities.
Candidate must be nominated and sponsored by a member of the Laboratory's technical staff.

Internship
LANL Undergraduate Student Internship Program (UGS)
The Undergraduate Student Internship Program (UGS) provides domestic and international students with relevant research experience while they are pursuing an undergraduate degree. Interns may work during the summer break or throughout the academic year.
For entering first-year students, must have acceptance into an undergraduate program and intent to enroll. For continuing students, must have full-time status, 12 undergraduate credit hours per semester (or the equivalent of full-time enrollment). Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on 4.0 scale.
