NREL Research Participant Program

Research Participant Program internships are open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students interested in gaining valuable mentoring experience, participating in the lab's research and development programs, and establishing ongoing collaborations.

Undergraduate students must have successfully completed at least 1 year of academic coursework and be enrolled full time in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited institution. Graduate students should be enrolled in a graduate, master's, or doctoral program. All students should plan to continue full-time in the following term and must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. See the main website for full requirements.
