NREL STEM Teacher and Researcher Program

STEM Teacher and Researcher (STAR) is a 9-week paid summer research experience program for future K–12 STEM teachers. The program pairs aspiring STEM teachers with researchers and scientists at research laboratories such as NREL and allows them to gain firsthand experience in applied research settings. STAR also supports the continued development of our teacher-researcher fellows with ongoing professional development and networking opportunities.
Must have junior level standing by January 1st of the year you plan to apply. Eligible applicants must be from any California State University (CSU) Campus or be a Noyce Scholar from any university across the US. See the main website for full requirements.
