![A rainbow emerged after a summer thunderstorm near the SAIL study area. The rainbow arcs over to the Taylor Park Reservoir and highlights how a holistic understanding, through atmosphere-through-bedrock studies, of the water that is managed in the Upper Colorado River Basin (UCRB) is directly impacted by how the sunlight and thermal energy warm the surface and created the thunderstorm, leading to precipitation in the atmosphere that impacts the water levels in the Reservoir.
